Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
The Science of Violence is an independent combat sports publication. We currently do not ask visitors to create accounts, subscribe to a mailing list, or submit personal information through a contact form. We do not sell personal information.
Information Our Website May Process
Like most websites, our web host and security services may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and basic server logs. We use this information for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation.
Cookies
The site may use cookies that are necessary for WordPress, security, accessibility, or remembering a visitor preference. We are not currently using cookies to build advertising profiles. If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking later, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.
Comments and Accounts
Public comments and visitor registration are not part of our current service. If either feature is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated before we intentionally collect that information.
Embedded Content and External Links
Articles may link to or embed content from third-party websites, such as video platforms, news publications, or social networks. Those services may collect data or use cookies under their own privacy policies. Following an external link takes you to a service we do not control.
Affiliate Links
Some future articles may contain affiliate links. If a reader follows an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a qualifying purchase to this site. We will identify affiliate content clearly and place disclosures near relevant links.
Data Retention and Your Choices
We retain server and security logs only as long as reasonably necessary for operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Because we do not currently maintain visitor accounts, mailing lists, or customer profiles, we generally do not hold a visitor record that can be accessed or deleted on request.
Changes to This Policy
We will revise this page if our data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest material update.
